Student's t Probabilities and Quantiles
The applet below computes and displays tail probabilities for Student's t distribution. It is a substitute for Table 5. When the page loads, the applet displays both numerically and graphically the example probability at the top of p.361. Use the text boxes to change the degrees of freedom and to select other values for x or the tail probability. For example, change df to 5 and Prob to .05 to find the value 2.015 in Example 7.6.
